What Sequoia Villa is actually like
Sequoia is the house where the evening gathers around a table. After dinner, someone stays behind to clear up, someone else racks the balls on the pool table, and within five minutes half the group is on its feet with a glass in hand while the other half sits on the sofa and comments. It isn't an evening with a schedule. This is where groups who come to talk, rather than to keep busy, settle in best.
The private wine cellar changes how the evening starts. It is a space set apart from the living room, and it breaks the rhythm: two of you go to pick something out, stay there a quarter of an hour, come back. Those small movements around the house bring people together differently than if everyone stays stuck in the same room. The four double bedrooms help with the same thing — Bedroom 1 on the ground floor, the other three upstairs, each with its own bathroom. A group of eight splits naturally into four pairs, and in the morning nobody waits for the bathroom.
The villa is rented whole, to a single group, and that shows most clearly at the hot tub and the sauna. The hot tub runs on gas and holds a constant temperature, so nobody has to prepare it and it doesn't cool down around midnight. You don't share the water with strangers and you don't work around anyone's schedule — apart from the quiet hours, 22:00–08:00. The sauna is indoors, and again only yours. You are ten minutes from the centre of Brașov, but in the private yard in Stupini you wouldn't know it.

I have no words to describe this amazing place !! Amazing and exceptional service, a close assistant who gave above and beyond service regarding laundry etc'. The villa is well equipped (apart from a washer-dryer, but it's not acute because of the nice maid). What is the private wine cellar at Villa Sequoia and how can we use it?
It is a wine-cellar space within the villa, for the exclusive use of the group renting it — Sequoia is rented whole, to a single group, so you don't share it with anyone. You can use it freely throughout your stay, as somewhere to sit apart from the living room, for a glass or for a quieter conversation. If you want to know exactly what is there during your stay, write to us before booking and we'll tell you.
Is the pool table included, and can anyone in the group use it?
Yes, the pool table is included in the rental price and you can use it as much as you like, with nothing extra to pay. Because the villa is rented whole, it is available only to your group, at any hour — we only ask that you keep the quiet hours in mind, 22:00–08:00. Together with the private wine cellar, the pool table is what distinguishes Sequoia from Villa Redwood, which has a ping-pong table and a projector visible from the hot tub instead.
How are the four bedrooms arranged and how many bathrooms are there?
Sequoia has four double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Bedroom 1 is on the ground floor, and Bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 are upstairs. In practice you have four separate bathrooms, so there is no queue in the morning. The price includes 8 guests, and the maximum capacity is 10 — if there are 9 or 10 of you, tell us when you book.
Do we have to prepare the hot tub, and is it included in the price?
You don't have to do anything. The hot tub runs on gas, at a constant temperature, so no fire needs lighting and you don't wait hours for the water to warm up — it is ready to use and stays at the same temperature while you are in it. It is included in the price, with no separate charge, and it is used exclusively by your group. You can use it at any point during your stay, keeping to the quiet hours, 22:00–08:00.
What do we do at Sequoia if it rains all weekend?
Almost everything that matters is indoors or under cover. The pool table, the private wine cellar, the sauna, the PlayStation 5, the living room and the dining area are all in the house. The terrace is covered, so you can sit outside even in the rain, and the hot tub works just as well in bad weather — gas-heated, at a constant temperature, whatever it's like outside. For cooking you have the fully equipped kitchen indoors, and outside the fire pit, the wood-fired barbecue and a gas barbecue.
